Summer earned her Bachelor of Civil Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. With over 20 years of experience in civil and structural engineering, she is highly skilled in building inspection, engineering consulting, and construction oversight. As a certified Reserve Specialist (RS), Summer is a seasoned expert when it comes to supporting community and homeowner associations.

Her depth of skills extends to ADA design, structural analysis, and evaluating buildings to support additional equipment such as solar panels and wind turbines. Summer’s passion lies in understanding how buildings are designed, how they function over time, and how to maintain their safety and value.

Summer’s leadership has been instrumental in coordinating efforts across engineering disciplines, ensuring that each study meets technical standards and client expectations. Through numerous Zoom consultations with property managers and HOA board members, she has guided stakeholders through critical planning decisions, helping them understand long-term capital needs and prioritize maintenance strategies.
